I recently received news that one of my favorite bands is going through a change. A name change. I first saw this VA based band play at an Acoustic Live Showcase in 2003 and since then I’ve been a big fan (though they don’t seem to visit the West Coast anymore, ever. *sniff*) Since Cecilia The Band lost Kevin, their bass player, they decided to be known simply as The Veltz Family (they make up the entire band now). They say everything else is slated to stay the same. Same great music and good feelings whenever I listen. I just ordered a couple more CDs as part of the clearance sale. I have “Live at Zig’s” and I’m awaiting “Live at The Source” and “Off the Record” which should arrive by late next week. Take a peek at Cecilia and The story!
