Golden sun and sky so blue

One of my favorite singer-songwriters from the early naughts has moved back to town. I remember listening to this song on repeat in the computer lab at school.

Michelle Branch- Til I Get Over You

I remember playing it on my guitar though I never quite memorized the 2nd verse or the part in French and I couldn’t easily hit those high notes in the chorus (I am not a soprano) but that song was very much my jam. I hope I have an opportunity to see her perform in the next few months. I remember liking her when she first got popular particularly because she wrote her own songs AND played an instrument. That was my stringent criteria for wanting to see musicians live. They had to somehow participate in their music aside from being auto-tuned to oblivion or else why bother calling them performing musicians?
